    Vacation Down South (12/7-12/13)

WOW, what a busy week in Sunny Southern California. We started our trip visiting Great-Grandma Darby and Great-Grandma Schultz-Brittain in Hemet. While visiting them we went to dinner which is where I got to meet/visit all my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. After dinner we settled in at Grandma Darby's so that we could get up early to start the next adventure. When we woke up, everyone got ready and packed the car to head to Legoland for a fun filled day. This was really a neat place and the first time everyone had been there. We say Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco and the Daytona 500 Race Track all built from Lego's. After the day was over, we drove to San Diego so that we could go to Sea World. I slept through the night as I was completely exhausted and needed my beauty rest. We woke up Tuesday morning and were at Sea World shortly after the gates opened. While there, we had lunch with Shamu the killer whale and then went and saw everyone (including Mommy and Brother) get soaking wet as they were in the splash zone. While Mommy and Brother were soaking wet we decided to go do the last few things before the park closed. While getting from place to place, Mommy took a tumble while trying to take a picture of Brother in front of a surf board. Mommy really hurt herself and was in a lot of pain with her thumb throbbing. Mommy tuffed it out and eventually had to see a doctor while at Disneyland. After all the adventure in Seaworld, we drove to Anaheim to get ready for 4 days in Disneyland. During this time we meet up with Mommy and Daddy's friends Shawnna and Dave, ate breakfast with Goofy, visited California Adventure and Disneyland, had dinner with Lori, Matt and kids at the Elephant Bar (Volcanoooooooooo). While there, we stayed in the Disneyland hotel which was very convenient and we rode the monorail into the park. We also had special dinner reservations for Club 33, which is the exclusive restaurant within the Disneyland park. During our dinner, Brother decided he was tired after such a busy day and was going to take a nap at the fancy restaurant. The server brought over a second chair for him to spread out on and offered a table cloth as a blanket. This was too funny and we have photos. After dinner the park was closing and we had to walk all the way back to the hotel as the monorail was not running any longer. All in all, this was a wonderful trip and myself and the rest of the family really enjoyed the trip and hope to go again next year.
