1st Camping Trip at Woodward Reservoir

What an amazing time and boy oh boy did I get dirty!! Daddy, Mommy, Brother, Grandpa and I left for the fun-filled camping trip on Thursday July 9th and came back home on Sunday afternoon of the 12th. I had a blast getting dirty, eating dirt, playing inside and outside the motor home and playing in my push car around the campsite. I did not sleep very well on Friday night due to all the loud noises from surrounding campsites partying the night/morning away. On Saturday night, it was quiet but, I still did not sleep well and woke up at 6:30am which made the entire family get up. On Friday, everyone except Grandpa went home to take showers and bring back the boat so that we could use it as we had a water front site. On Saturday, Nana, Papa and Auntie Billie came for a day visit and brought us 20 gallons of water. We needed water because the motor home water inlet value burst and drained the entire fresh water tank leaving us with no water. Mommy and Daddy had to go into town and buy water bottles so that we could wash dishes and Grandpa decided to use lake water to flush the toilet when needed. Also on Saturday, Daddy had to call the local Sheriff because the group that tried take over our campsite were doing illegal things and starting to cause grief which the family did not like. Once they showed up, the party dispersed and all was quiet the rest of the night. All in all, we all had a great time and we are looking forward to the next trip in August with the Luna Moms Club.

    Alameda County Fair

On July 5th, Mommy, Daddy and Brother took me to the Alameda County Fair. We met Auntie Sandy, Uncle Joe, Sydney, Jordan, Spencer, Papa and Uncle Kevin at the fair for the fun. While at the fair I got to pet many different animals like goats, pigs, deer, baby chicks, a snake and finally several bunnies just to name a few. We watched the pig races, kids tractor pull where Sydney participated, and I got to watch brother and friends ride the carnival rides. While watching my friends, Daddy was holding me near the games and I noticed something really neat and kept calling for it until Daddy heard and understood me. I noticed that one of my favorite foods was hanging there and I wanted it. When Daddy turned around and noticed what it was, he decided to try and win it for me. There was several sizes from small to extra large bright yellow stuffed nana's. Daddy and I walked over there and the guy said that if Daddy bought the $5.00 bucket he was guaranteed to win. So needless to say, Daddy paid the money and tried to place a ping pong ball into a small round fish bowl. He got one in, but was the wrong color. It was ok, I still got one and I really enjoyed chewing on it for the evening. :) We stayed at the fair until around 7pm and then decided to eat at On the Border. Once dinner was complete, we drove home and did our nightly routine before bed. It was a great day with friends and family and was nice to see everyone.

    4th of July

This was my 2nd 4th of July and what a great day we all had!! We did not make it to the parade, but we did see the last part on our way to the park for the festivities. We walked around and saw several people we knew. Mommy talked with Gina while Daddy played with me and showed me the festivities. After Mommy was done, we walked around, ate lunch, and went back home. Next, Mommy took to me to my friend Nicholas' 1st birthday party, while Daddy built a stand for the washer and dryer. It was fun seeing some of my little friends and getting to eat cake!! After the party, we came home and got Daddy, and then went to Auntie Rhonda's Mom's 60th birthday party. We stayed there awhile and visited with friends, and then we went to my friend Kaitlyn's house for a B.B.Q. We ate yummy hotdogs and hamburgers and had brownies and ice cream for dessert!! YUMMY!! :) We really had a great time!! After dinner, we went to Grandpa's house and we joined the block party going on in his neighborhood where we watched the fireworks. The were really loud and so pretty to look at! I didn't even cry, I just gazed at them in amazement!! It was a really busy and fun-filled day!!
